The two problems that repeat

Small legal and compliance teams describe the same two problems. The second is the security questionnaire: the same forty questions, twenty times a year, in slightly different wording, each taking a week of someone’s attention.

Both are search and drafting problems. Neither requires legal judgment to produce a first draft, and both currently consume the time of people whose judgment you are actually paying for.

First-pass contract review against your own playbook. The system flags where a counterparty’s paper deviates from your positions, with the clause and your standard alongside it. A lawyer decides. Nothing is accepted automatically.

Obligation extraction across the existing estate, which usually surfaces things nobody remembered agreeing to. That output is frequently the most valuable single artifact we produce for a compliance function.

Document alignment, which matters more than it sounds. SOWs, MSAs, marketing collateral, policies, and procedures that contradict each other are a liability in a dispute and a drag on every sales cycle. We find the contradictions across the whole corpus and fix them with your counsel.

The boundary

Nothing leaves without a lawyer reading it. We are not providing legal advice and the system is not either. It produces drafts and search results, which is where the time goes anyway.
