How the work is bought

How we work, and what you walk away with

Six shapes. Every one states what it covers, how long it takes, and what is yours at the end. We do not publish prices, for the reason below.

The shapes

EngagementLengthWhat you getWhen it fits
AI Readiness AssessmentFixed scopeThree weeksWritten findings, a ranked opportunity list, the refusal list, a 90-day plan with named owners, and a data and tooling audit.Start here unless you have done something equivalent in the last six months.
Implementation sprintFixed scope per service areaFour to eight weeksHands-on delivery inside one service area, with baselines measured before and after and runbooks handed over. When the assessment produced a clear first move and someone on your side owns it.
Training and championsPer teamTwo days, then quarterlyA workshop on your own work, a leadership session, a champions programme, and the cadence that keeps it alive. After a practice exists to teach. Not before.
Fractional CAIOMonthly retainerMonthly, three-month minimumStanding advisory, office hours for your teams, and someone accountable for AI strategy and governance at the leadership table. When the work is ongoing judgment rather than a project with an end.
Managed AI operationsMonthly retainerMonthlyMonitoring, evaluation runs, prompt and agent maintenance, and handling model changes before they degrade what you built.Only after an automation build. There is nothing to manage before that.
MSP partner programmeRecurringRecurringYour own AI consulting and governance line: assessment template, governance packages, tiered runbooks, technician enablement, and a pricing model you own.For MSPs who want to sell this rather than buy it.

What moves the number

In the order it actually matters.

  1. The condition of your data. If customer records live in four systems that disagree, the first engagement is data repair and it is priced as such.
  2. How many teams are in scope. One engineering team is a sprint. Engineering, IT, and finance together is a programme.
  3. Whether a harness already exists. A team with review gates, tests, and a policy in place costs a fraction of one starting from scattered tool use.
  4. Governance requirements. Regulated industries, or anyone answering enterprise security questionnaires, add policy and documentation work that has to be done properly.

Why there are no prices on this page

Every engagement is scoped to the systems and teams involved, and a number on a page would either be wrong for you or padded to be safe. What we can do instead is tell you the market: a mid-market readiness assessment ran about $10,000 to $25,000 across published 2026 pricing guides, and implementation work starts around $40,000. We wrote up the whole picture in what AI consulting costs, so you can check any quote, including ours, against it.

True of every engagement

  • Fixed scope agreed in writing before it starts. No open-ended hourly work.
  • You keep everything produced, whether or not there is a next phase.
  • You can stop at the end of any phase and still be better off.
  • The people who do the assessment are the people who do the delivery. Nobody hands off.
  • We take nothing from any vendor for recommending their product.
